Q: How long will it take to get my order?

A: Everything is made to order. I can offer a wide range of options to suit your needs. Typically, manufacturing takes about a month from the date of order. However, please keep in mind that schedule fluctuations may impact this timeframe. For more accurate lead times or to inquire about the status of your order, please don't hesitate to contact me directly. Your satisfaction is my priority, and I'll do my best to keep you informed every step of the way.

Q: I heard tubular manifolds crack?

A: Cracking has been exceedingly rare in my manifold designs. The only instance of cracking occurred with a 304 stainless steel manifold that underwent extensive track use over many years. To mitigate the risk of cracking in high-stress racing environments, I now build all my manifolds with 321 stainless steel. This material provides enhanced durability and resilience to extreme heat, ensuring peace of mind for prolonged track use and demanding racing scenarios.

Q: Can I retain the stock power steering system when installing your turbo kit?

A: Yes, you can retain the stock power steering system with my turbo kit. I offer a solution for both early NA and NB models. For early NA two-bolt inlet fittings, I provide a specialized fitting. Additionally, I offer a cut and rotate service for both NA and NB models to ensure compatibility. These modifications enable seamless integration of the turbo kit with the existing power steering setup, maintaining functionality and convenience.

Q: Can I retain the stock AC when installing your turbo kit?

A: Yes, it is possible to retain the stock AC system with my turbo kit. The manifold itself does not interfere with the AC system. The primary consideration is the routing of the charge pipes. The easiest way is to route the charge pipes over the top of the radiator support, This will require cutting the hood and radiator support. It is possible to maneuver the charge pipes around the side of the compressor. However, this may require careful positioning to ensure adequate clearance.

Q: Does the water pump inlet interfere?

A: Many customers have successfully used the stock water pump inlet without any problems. However, it's worth noting that it does run quite close to the bottom of the manifold, and in some cases can interfere. I highly recommend running my water pump inlet option. This inlet is modeled after the Mazda 323 and allows you to retain the factory fittings and heat. Additionally, it provides a water return point for the turbo, offering peace of mind and improved functionality.

Q: Will the downpipe fit my stock or aftermarket exhaust?

A: No, it requires modification. My downpipe will not directly fit your stock or aftermarket exhaust system. However, I provide a V-band flange with every downpipe to facilitate customization. With a welder and some pipe its easy to connect my downpipe to any exhaust system you prefer. It's worth noting that the 3” downpipe back exhaust I sell does directly fit.

Q: Can I use the stock Garrett internal wastegate actuator?

A: Unfortunately, due to the turbo's required rotation, the stock wastegate actuator won't fit. However, universal wastegate actuators and side mount brackets are perfect alternatives and provide more options.
